Road Trippin' with the High School

I got the privilege of traveling to Brenham, TX for a regional UIL competition. For those of you outside of Texas this is an academic competition or nerd convention as those jealous ones keep calling it...Frankie.... :) I was the Number Sense coach and one of my guys got to go to regionals.

I had a really great time. The kids that went are really good kids. It was about a four hour drive on the bus and we passed some really cool things along the way.

One of them was the world's smallest active Catholic church.

One of the main reason I was so excited to go to Brenham was because this is the home of Blue Bell ice cream, which is some of the best ice cream in the nation. We had the time to go the factory with the kids and we all enjoyed $1 scoops! :) Here are some pictures of the place where magic is made. :)

Finally, I want to share with you the best joke of the whole trip....
