Mexic-Arte Museum: Austin, Texas

In February Frankie and I went to Austin and decided to go somewhere we had never been. We chose the Mexic-Arte Museum on Congress Ave. They change the exhibits fairly often and when we went they were featuring different masks including those of Lucha Libre which is a freestyle form of wrestling developed in Mexico and other spanish speaking countries.

There is not much to say about the masks, it was more of a purely visual trip through the museum for me. I loved all the colors and styles. I will simply stop babbling now and will show you pictures. First up will be the wooden masks and then the Lucha Libre masks.

I hope you enjoy!
